Planning for retirement can feel overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to be. In this session, we’ll break down the basics of 403(b) and 457 retirement plans—what they are, how they work, and how they can complement your existing retirement system through PSRS or PEERS. Whether you're early in your career or closer to retirement, this session will help you make informed decisions about your financial future.

Mental Health First Aid

Session Description
Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) equips participants with the skills to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among adults. This evidence-based training will provide you with practical tools to interact effectively with individuals experiencing a mental health crisis and guide them toward appropriate support. This session will cover:
  • Common signs and symptoms of mental health and substance use challenges
  • How to interact with someone in crisis
  • How to connect individuals with the help they need
  • Expanded content on trauma, substance use, and self-care

This is an in-person session. Please join us at the location listed in the session details.

RSVP Instructions
RSVP for this session on the Trauma-Informed series Sched. Two hours of self-paced online learning will be required before attending this session. Participants will receive their pre-work two weeks before the course. As such, participants must sign up by May 1, 2025.
